By-Lions, Inc. was started in 1998 by Forrest Lines and Joseph Hebdo. Both were in construction related fields and recognized the need for qualified, knowledgeable home inspectors. Once Forrest and Joe made the decision to start, they joined the major organization established for the purpose of educating and monitoring home inspectors, NAHI(National Association of Home Inspectors). They both have received the highest certification available to a home inspector (Certified Real Estate Inspector) and participate in continuing education classes yearly to maintain that certification.
As of November 2007 there are only 450 NAHI CRI's worldwide. Through the years they have undergone classes and received certifications in several associated subjects, including Radon Gas, and have also joined AARST (American Association of Radon Scientists and Technicians) to help stay updated in these subjects. To date, Forrest and Joe have more than 4,000 fee paid home inspections and 14,000 draw inspections in Ohio, arguably perhaps the most qualified firm in more houses than any other inspection firm in our area.
